Govt of Sindh announces Public Holiday on Feb 5, Kashmir Day

KARACHI: Government of Sindh on Thursday evening has issued announced a public holiday on February 5, Kashmir across the province.

Services, General Administration & Coordination department issued a notification on Thursday evening which stated that “government of Sindh is pleased to declare 5th February 2016 (Friday) as closed holiday throughout the province of Sindh on the occasion of Kashmir Day for all offices, Autonomous Bodies and Local Councils under the Control of Governmetn of SIndh, except essential services.

A one-minute silence would also be observed at 1000 hrs on 5th Feb 2016 to hounour the Kashmiri Martyrs.
