PESHAWAR: The federal government has failed in providing the people of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with their due rights, said senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday.
Addressing a rally in Mohmand Agency, he said the people of tribal areas always put national interest first despite being faced with aggravating situation for the last 10 years.
“I have come here to pay tribute to your valour and patriotism,” the senior PTI leader said.
He said neither international community fulfilled its pledges nor did the federal government give FATA people their due rights, vowing that the PTI would keep welfare of FATA on its priority list after coming into power in Islamabad.
“We will abolish atrocious laws like FCR, and bring the people of FATA into mainstream,” Shah Mehmood Qurshi said.
