NA-122: Election Tribunal dismisses PTI’s plea

LAHORE: Election Tribunal on Tuesday has dismissed the plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) contestant Aleem Khan against result of NA-122 by-election in which he got defeated by Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker National Assembly, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

The plea submitted by Aleem Khan on November 26 demands to annul the NA-122 by-election as it was unfair due to alleged transfer of votes from the constituency.

After winning the by-election held on October 11 this year, Ayaz Sadiq took oath as Speaker of the National Assembly for the second time on November 9.
