Pak vs NZ 1st ODI: Amir restarts ODI career with wide ball

WELLINGTON: Young Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir, who was sentenced for being involved in spot-fixing after delivering deliberate no-balls in 2010, began second innings of his One Day International career with wide ball. 

Mohammad also began his 2nd T20 innings with wideball against New Zealand earlier this month.

Earlier, Pakistan had won the toss and elected to field first in first of three match series against New Zealand at Westpac Stadium, Wellington on Monday.

Pakistan XI: Azhar Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmed Shehzad, Sohaib Maqsood, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, Sarfraz Ahmed, Anwar Ali, Imad Wasim, Babar Azam and Mohammad Irfan.

New Zealand XI: Kane Williamson, Martin Guptill, Tom Latham, Corey Anderson, Trent Boult, Grant Elliott, Matt Henry, Colin Munro, Adam Milne, Santner.
