ISLAMABAD: At least 25 suspects have been taken into custody in a joint search operation conducted by Islamabad Police and Rangers in different sites of Capital city, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to police, they carried out targeted operation in Bhara Kahu and other areas on the Islamabad’s outskirt.
The police said 52 kilograms of explosive material, 3 pistols and hundreds of bullets were also recovered in the raids.
Earlier today Police and Law Enforcement Agencies conducted a search operation in Pahari Poora, site in Peshawar, District of Khyber PakhtunKhwa, Pakistan.
Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) detained at least 70Â people in the operation including 17Â Afghan nationals.
All the suspects had been shifted to unknown place for further investigations.
Police spokesman told media that lethal weapons and ammunition had been recovered from the possession of suspects.
This operation was conducted on information provided by the intelligence agencies on presence of Taliban’s suspects.
