ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif announced observing a day of national mourning across country on Thursday over terrorist attack on a Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, TheNewsTribe.com.
The national flag will remain at half mast at all government buildings across the country on Thursday. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is currently in Switzerland to attend annual meeting of World Economic Forum.
.Nawaz Sharif called Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on telephone and discussed the terror attack on Bacha Khan University.

Almost at 9: 30 am today, a group of terrorist attacked Bacha Khan University Saddar campus in Charsada.
Law enforcement agencies and rescue teams had rushed to the university campus, while eye witnesses said that gunfire can be heard from university premises. Four major blasts were also heard from inside.
According to reports, the university campus and hostels were being evacuated and people from surrounding areas have been instructed to avoid coming closer to the university.
At least twenty people, one of which was identified as a chemistry professor, has embraced martyrdom in the attack. Other dead were supposed to be university students and security guards.
