Youngster killed by Police in Karachi

KARACHI: Karachi Police on Monday has gunned down a youngster, Shahryar, in Karachi’s Gizri area after he allegedly failed to stop at security check post.

According to details, police officials claimed that they had signaled the two boys to stop for a security check, but they failed to stop. Upon this, officials opened fire, resultantly a boy namely Shahryar sustained bullet injuries.

He was later shifted to nearby hospital for treatment where he later succumbed to injuries, while officials arrested the police personnel Hamza.

Tahir, friend of injured boy said that the deceased Shahryar failed to stop at for a security check due to the speed of motorcycle but when he turned the motorcycle police opened firing.

On the other side Shehryar’s brother Iqrar while talking to media said that they were forced not to file a case against Police personnel.
