AUCKLAND: Pakistan Cricket Team on Friday has jumped to 5th slot after promising victory against New Zealand at Eden Park, Auckland.
Pakistan can get to top of the list if Pakistan white wash the hosts in the ongoing T20 series, if the result of series will be 2-1 (Pakistan winning series) Pakistan will secure 5th slot otherwise Pakistan will be dropped to 7th position again.
If New Zealand won the series 2-1, she will be promoted to 5th position and Pakistan will be dropped down.
White wash against England in United Arab Emirates proved nightmare for Pakistan, Pakistan dropped to 6th slot from 2nd after that series and earlier before start of the series against New Zealand Pakistan was further dropped down to the 7th position in the list but now victory in the first T20 match put them back on 5th slot and if Pakistan white wash hosts it can move to top of the list..
West Indies is first in list, where Australia, Sri Lanka, England, South Africa are on 2nd, 3rd 4th and 5th slot respectively.
India is way down in list and 8th on standing table, Afghanistan is on 9th and Bangladesh on 10th position.
