Power supply restored after major breakdown

ISLAMABAD: Power supply has been restored in various parts of the country after several hours of major break-down of the national grid.

 

According to the spokesman of WAPDA, the power breakdown was occurred due to technical fault and efforts are underway to rectify the fault.

Following the outage, operations across railways stations, airports and other government offices were affected.

Several areas acorss Punjab and KP are out of electricity due to the fault in Mangla Power House.

The Wapda teams have not given any time frame for the rectification of fault, but said the electricity will be restored soon.
