Soahaib Maqsood likely to miss 1st T20 against New Zealand

WELLINGTON: Middle order batsman of Pakistan cricket team, Sohaib Maqsood likely to miss the fist Twenty20 match of the series due to neck injury, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to details, right-handed batsman Sohaib Maqsood got neck injury during practice session a day before opening match of Pakistan’s tour to New Zealand.

Team management claimed that Sohaib Maqsood got minor injury but decision of his inclusion in team will be taken before the match.

Pakistan will take on New Zealand in 1st T20 of three match series on January 15 at Eden Park Auckland, New Zealand.

Shahid Afridi will lead green shirts while Kane Williamsome will be leading high flying Kiwis in the absence of regular captain Brendon McCullum.
