Meanwhile, Sindh Education Minister Nisar Khuhro and Maula Bux, Adviser to Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, visited Mithi and inspected health facilities.

“Situation is not as bad as being reported by media in Tharparkar,” Chandio told media persons.

“We, however, are trying to address negligence if there was any,” he said, adding that he would brief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari about the situation.

Speaking on this occasion, Khuhro said that Sindh government would distribute free wheat in Tharparkar for one month.

“There are better health facilities at Civil Hospital in Mithi,” he added.
