KABUL: A suicide blast has killed 6 people including Afghan Police personnel near Pakistani consulate in Jalalabad, Afgahnistan, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from International media.
Rescue teams and law enforcement agencies rushed to the blast site immediately. The area has been completely cordoned off.
Afghan media has revealed that some gunmen and attackers might be hiding in the streets near Pakistani, Indian and Iranian consulates as they are located just few hundred meters away from the blast site. The offices of Afghan TV and Radio stations are also located in the same area.
Area near to Pakistani consulate has been completely cordoned off after the blast, number of casualties are likely to increase.
This is second time in a week when a blast has taken place near consulates buildings in Jalalabad city.
