ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan went to the ARY office in Islamabad to show solidarity with workers, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Imran Khan said that the nation is united against terrorism and National Action Plan must be implemented. Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Jahangir Khan Tareen also visited the ARY News office.
Senior PTI leaders also met with anchorpersons and other workers of ARY News and condemned the cracker bomb attack.
Earlier, unknown militants thrown cracker bomb on ARY News bureau office, Islamabad. Security forces arrived at site and started the search operation. According to initial reports, unidentified assailants riding a motorbike lobbed crackers on ARY News office and fired several shots on Wednesday evening.
Security guards present at the office entrance retaliated swiftly forcing the attackers to flee away dropping pamphlets.
Global terror outfit Daesh’s Afghanistan chapter claimed responsibility of the attack in the pamphlets ‘in reaction to the channels coverage of ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb’.
