PUNJAB: Members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) of Punjab on Wednesday approved the bill regarding 100 percent raise in pay of lawmakers, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Summary was sent to Chief Minsiter of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for approval. After the approval of summary, CM Punjab’s pay will jump to 1 lac and 50 thousand as his current pay is 80 thousands.
Speaker Punjab Assembly will earn 1 lac 40 thousand per after raise in pay as the current pay is 77 thousand. According to reports, ministers of Punjab government will also get benefit if CM approve the summary.
Members of Punjab cabinet will take 1 lac thirty thousand after the 100 raise in pay.
