ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Crown Prince and Minister for Defence of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud is due to visit Islamabad on Sunday.
Saudi Defence Minister will discuss military alliance of 34 Islamic countries along with bilateral relations and the operation against terrorism. The Saudi Minister will meet with Pakistan’s political leadership and military officials.
Earlier Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Bin Ahmed al Jubeir visited Pakistan on Thursday and held meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and Foreign Advisor Sartaj Aziz. The visits of Saudi ministers come at a time when the Kingdom is engaged in diplomatic row with Iran after its embassy was ransacked in Tehran following execution of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr.
Pakistan has expressed concern over the escalation in tension between the two brotherly Muslim countries, urging Riyadh and Tehran to show restrain.
