ISIS commander killed in Iraq: US media

BAGHDAD: US media on Sunday has claimed that Islamic State (IS) Commander and Abu-Bakr Al-Baghdadi’s (Head of IS) Deputy Assi Ali Mohammed Nasser al-Obeidi has been killed in aerial strikes by Iraqi forces in the north-western city of Barwana in Anbar province, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from international media.

Obeidi was an IS commander in western Iraq and had also been appointed in eastern Syria, he had also served as a brigade commander in Saddam Hussein s Republican Guards.

Earlier Yesterday more than 20 IS members were killed, scores were injured in a US drone attack in Afghan Province Nangahar.
