PARIS: A man wearing suicide vest has been killed after an exchange of gunfire outside a police station at 18th arrondissement in Paris on Thursday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Witnesses describe seeing a man running towards the entrance of a police station before police personnel opened the fire.
According to initial reports, incident occurred on anniversary of Charlie Hebdo attacks. Police union sources said the man attempted to enter the building with a knife before he was shot by officers.
A Paris police official said the attack was being investigated as a possible terrorist incident.
