NEW YORK: Samsung has big plans for the newest additions of the Galaxy family and with just a month away from the unveiling, rumors are spreading about the new designs.
The major change could be the 5.7-inch display, listed on the screenshot that surfaced today, which would beat out iphone 6S Plus’s screen of just 5.5-inches.
Redditor mobile leaks has posted a screenshot that appears to be from the Galaxy S7 edge that shows the device will have display of 5.7 inches, which would represent a significant step up from the S6 edge’s 5.1-inch display.
Other specs revealed in the leak include a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of base storage, a 12.2-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
These specs are still rumors, of course, so we wouldn’t put too much stock into them until more sources confirm them. That said, they do seem pretty much in line with expectations.
