Five dictators who lived like kings

Five dictators who lived like kings| TheNewsTribe.com

Here are the five dictators who were mighty, dealt with iron hand and had an ostentatious living style.

Joseph Stalin (Net Worth: $75 Million)

Josef Stalin ruled Russia from 1922 to 1952 with the official title as the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

He had the net worth of $75 Million. He bought himself whatever luxury items he desired at the expense of his people.

Adolf Hitler

Hitler was the ruler of Germany from 1934 to April of 1945. He supposedly committed suicide when Allied Soldiers were closing in on his bunker during World War II.

He had a net worth of $ 800 million.

Before he became the ruler of Germany, Hitler wrote a book called “Mein Kampf”. It earned him a lot of notoriety and money, which allowed him to buy mansions and luxury cars. The money kept pouring in when the book became required reading material for the German people. Hitler also had a big art collection, but the pieces were taken back during World War II.

Mao Zedong

Mao Zedong, or Mao Tse-tung, was the Chinese Chairman of the Communist Party. Zedong was largely responsible for the starvation and working deaths of up to 70 million Chinese citizens. Zedong, however, wasn’t starving at all, with a net worth believed to be around $700 million. For a Communist, this is quite a discrepancy between the Chairman and his people.

Bashar al Assad

Bashar al-Assad is the current President of Syria and has held the position since 2000 when he replaced his father, Hafez al-Assad.

Currently, it is estimated that Bashar is worth $1.5 billion. In stark contrast to the billionaire president, the people of Syria are making an average of $2,000 per capita.

Saddam Hussein

Hussein served as the fifth President of Iraq. He held office from 1979 to 2003. By the time he was ousted from power in 2003, Hussein had a net worth of $2 billion. Hussein’s lavish expenses were tied to palaces he called home across Iraq.
