Dubai: A magical eight-act spectacle is expected to beam out of the the world’s tallest tower to be witnessed by up to 2 million people around the tower, and millions more on TV and live streaming tonight.
The lights-and-sound event, which presents the futuristic vision of the UAE, follows weeks of elaborate preparations to welcome visitors to Downtown Dubai who have started to converge around the iconic Burj Khalifa complex to witness one of the world’s biggest New Year’s Eve parties, Gulf News reported.
