The 2016 dawn is about to break. It is time to plan for New Year, or more accurately time to make new resolutions. Though, the old ones have not been accomplished yet but the world id based on hope. Majority of us have not executed our 2015 resolutions and those who have done are yet invisible to me. But, making the new ones would not harm us as maybe we succeed to fulfill them this year.

So, we should give it another try. Here are a few resolutions that we would like to make,

To lose weight

This will perhaps, remain the most broken resolution of all time. Despite one’s body type, everyone’s main goal every year, is to lose weight. Unfortunately, this is one that we end up breaking the most too! January is the month when fitness centres garner the most patrons, simply because half the world would have decided to hit the gym (as a New Year resolution). Though the objective is noble, it is important to stick to it.

To learn something new

Remember the guitar or French classes you took last year and couldn’t complete? Well, this year might be the right time to reorganize your schedule and complete the course.

To be more punctual

Are you always in a rush? Do you feel really proud of yourself when you reach your workplace on time? Then you might be one of them who make this resolution every year.

To save money

Everyone wants a big fat bank account and a slim body. Making a financial commitment can really help you reach most of your other goals. Keeping a check on how you spend is perhaps the best way to save money! Maybe it’s time to actually begin pinching the pennies this year.

To quit smoking

It is only towards the end of the year that most people who smoke feel guilty about it. Though the process is slow and tedious, giving up cigarettes is the best resolution one can make. A small minority, one in 14 or approximately 7% of people, will succeed in quitting on their first attempt.

To spend more time with the family

This is once again a resolution that is broken very often, because we claim to have no time to take out from our lives to spend some time with someone we love the most. Maybe it’s time to change? Start out by spending short periods of time with your family before moving on to longer periods.
