LAHORE: Pakistan One Day International (ODI) captain Azhar Ali on Tuesday has agreed to remain captain of the side after meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Shehryar Khan, The NewsTribe.com reported.

Azhar Ali presented his resignation from captaincy which Shehryar did not accepted and after the meeting with PCB boss Azhar Ali has agreed to remain captain of Pakistan team.

Earlier few days back close sources of PCB had indicated that Azhar Ali likely to step down from captaincy if Mohammad Amir selected of Pakistan ODI team.

Azhar Ali and Mohammad Hafeez has joined the training camp but it seems like both have not accepted Mohamamd Amir’s inclusion and they both do not want Amir to play for Pakistan side again.
