9 Daesh militants remanded for 10 days in police custody

DASKA: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday granted a 10 days physical remand of nine Daesh militants, who were arrested yesterday from a bus stand in Daska.

Lahore’s counter-terrorism department had conducted a raid near bus stand in Daska, arresting nine terrorists affiliated with banned outfit Daesh.

The accused included Adnan Babar, Jawad Aslam, Abu Hanifa, Amir Sohail, Ijaz Ahmed and Saeed Ahmed were plotting terror attacks in Lahore and Gujranwala divisions, sources said.

Explosive material, weapons and hate literature were recovered from the possession of the accused, they added.

The accused were produced before the ATC of Gujranwala today after which the court granted physical remand of the accused for 10 days
