RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Sunday discussed matters related to the resumption of the stalled peace process and other issued with Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Adullah in Kabul during his day long visit to Afghanistan.
According series of tweets posted by Lt. Gen Asim Bajwa, General Raheel and Abdullah discussed matters related to the resumption of the stalled peace process, fight against terrorism and issues of mutual interest. They also discussed options to take action against those terrorists who refuse to come to the negotiation table.
Both sides agreed to take quick and strong action against terrorist groups.
