MEXICO CITY: The world’s fattest man, , has died in his home in Mexico from a heart attack.

According to details from International media, Moreno was 38 and was on his way to hospital in Ciudad Obregón in the Mexican state of Sonora when he died at the age of 38.

The world’s most obese man weighed 444 kilograms at his heaviest, however he had slimmed down to 320kg before gastric bypass surgery in October.

The surgery was proclaimed a success and gave Moreno the ability to walk again with assistance and to wash himself.

“He was doing well, but he had had two previous heart attacks. He became short of breath, and died in the ambulance,” his publicist Carmen Palacios said.

It is pertinent to mention here that Moreno was a former police officer, but his weight had confined him to bed for four years.
