Shah Rukh Khan is facing huge backlash these days on his comments regarding growing intolerance in India. Even his film, Dil Wale has been banned in some areas of India. Finally, he expresses displeasure on the ongoing rants.

“I have not said anything I would apologize for. I won’t deny but I have been reading messages on the social media. Perhaps the film was not screened (in Rajasthan and MP for the first two days) because of this.”

“I feel extremely sad. I don’t need to vouch for who I am, what I stand for but I feel very sad that the work sometimes gets tainted like this. It is too hurtful to know that something we make to give happiness to people would somehow turn into something that becomes controversial or tainted.”
When he was asked about his views on the release of the juvenile rapist, SRK said, “I will be honest. I am not going to answer anything which is a serious issue on a platform like this. At this point, I am completely at a wrong place, at a wrong time,’
