PESHAWAR: Secondary and Elementary Education department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday announced winter vacations across the province.
According to a notification issued on Monday, the educational institutions in the mountainous areas will remain closed from December 25 to February 28.
In plain areas, schools will observe the holidays from December 25 to December 31.
Earlier on December 15, the Punjab education department said that the government education institutions will remain close from 24th December to 31st December.
According to sources, the winter vacations in the private schools have been announced from 24th December to 31st December.
