LAHORE: Former Australian cricketer and head coach of Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Islamabad United, Dean Jones arrived at Lahore on Sunday night.

Dean Jones became controversial before the start of Pakistan Super League’s opening edition. Head coach of Islamabad United again arrived in Pakistan as he was deported from Benazir International Airport Earlier on Sunday.

Jones was traveling to Pakistan without traveling documents and Pakistan visa. Although former Australian cricketer claimed that he just missed the some traveling documents but Federal Investigation Agency ruled out his claim and revealed that he was traveling without Pakistan visa.

He also missed the Logo launching ceremony of Islamabad United. Wasim Akram attended the ceremony where Jones was failed to take part.

Federal Interior Minister of Pakistan, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan took action against Emirates Airline and ordered to fine over allowing Dean Jones to travel without Pakistani visa.

Pakistani media also slammed the action of Dean Jones and and claimed that he is a controversial personality. In past, Dens Jones gave statements against Muslim cricketers and called South African batsman Hashim Amal, a terrorists.

Former Pakistani Test cricketer Sikandar Bakht said that Dean Jones was also involved in spot-fixing and he was threw out from team by the team management.

Cricket expert said that Pakistan Cricket Board should appoint Pakistani former cricket stars as coach at PSL teams.
