SINDH: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Friday approved the summary for extending special powers to Rangers in Sindh, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, SM Sindh singed the summary regarding the extension in special powers of Ranger. Sources told that summary also sent to Federal Interior Minister of Pakistan.
After the approval by federal interior ministry, Sindh Rangers will able use to special powers again.
Earlier on Firday, Traders record their protest against resolution passed by Sindh Assembly regarding Rangers special powers.
The rally had reached Arts Council and record their protest The participants of the rally demanded the provincial government to grant all special powers to the paramilitary force.
They were carrying placards and chanting slogans against PPP-led Sindh government for curtailing Rangers powers, which, they said could make Karachi operation less effective.
It is important to mentio here that Sindh Assembly approved the resolution to restrict the powers of Rangers during Wednesday session.
Interior Minister of Sindh, Anwar Syal presented the resolution in assembly and Member of Assembly (MPA) belonging to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) passed the resolution by their votes.
