ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif paid tribute to the victims of Army Public School, Peshawar.
In a tribute to those who lost their lives in the deadly attack, PM Nawaz has advised that all federal educational institutes should commemorate the national tragedy by observing “APS Martyrs Day”.
He said that children should be taught that Islamic teachings negate terrorism.
Nawaz stated that the sacrifice of the martyrs will never be forgotten. He further added that children should be told that the act of taking a life of an innocent will be punished, both in this world and the hereafter.
Cheif Minsiter (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has announced a public holiday on Wednesday in all educational institutes pf Punjab to honor the APS victims. Programs and shows will also be arranged to honour the courageous martyrs.
PM Nawaz Sharif will attend the ceremony in APS Peshawar. Source told that he is on way to Peshawar.
