KARACHI: Pakistan’s most famous anchor person Amir Liaquat Hussain has resigned from the post of President of Geo Network as protest.
Amir Liaquat announced his resignation through micro blogging website Twitter and quoted a reason that he was not expecting this act (wearing APS uniform) from Geo on such sensitive matter as it will hurt the families of martyred children and other staff who lost their lives in the brutal act of terrorism.
It is pertinent to mention here that News anchors of Geo News wore the APS uniform while performing their duties.
