ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former interior minister Rehman Malik claimed that Sindh government is ready to give the extension in Rangers’ special powers.
Rehman Malik said that notification will be issued on Wednesday evening. Sindh government wants to cut roots of terrorism from Karachi and Sindh.
Earlier on Monday, opposition parties in Sindh Assembly are protesting in front of Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani’s dice over Rangers’ power issue.
Oppostion members from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Ruling Party in centre (PML-N) and Functional League has chanted slogans’ Corruption ka jo yaar hy, Ghaddar hy Ghaddar hy’ means ‘whoever is friend of Corruption is traitor’.
Opposition members are demanding to present Rangers’ power resolution in the Assembly.
Where Agha Siraj Durrani is of the opinion that there is no agenda of Rangers’ power in today’s meeting and he will not take any dictation from anyone.
