LAHORE: Government of Punjab announced public holiday on December 16 on account of Army Public School attack in Peshawar.

Notification of holiday was issued by home department. According to notification government schools and offices will be remain closed.

Earlier, Khyber PakhtunKhwa government had announced a public holiday in Peshawar on Wednesday, December 16 on the first anniversary of Army Public School Attack.

KP Government has issued a notification of public holiday in Peshawar, District of KP, Pakistan.

It is to be kept in mind that terrorist stormed in the APS Peshawar on December 16, 2014, opened the fire on the students and took lives of more than 140 students, teachers and other school staff.
