Full moon will shine this Christmas first time since 1977

WASHINGTON: National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has said that a full moon will shine on the mega festival for the first time since 1977.

The ABC News reported, while quoted NASA officials, that full moon will reach its peak size around 6:11 a.m. ET in United States.

The report further stated that world will have to wait until 2034 to witness an alike scene on Christmas.

The last full moon of each year’s month of December is called as the Full Cold Moon as it shines in the longest and coldest nights of the year.
