KARACHI: Advisor Information Sindh Mola Baksh Chandio on Saturday has said that Karachi Operation will remain continue without any discrimination as Sindh government has confidence over Rangers.
According to details, Chandio said that they want to settle down the issue of Rangers’ power extension and to enhance the power of Rangers a decision of Sindh goverment is likely on Monday.
Chandio said that they want that Karachi operation must be continued as no one can deny the outcomes of the Rangers work in the Karachi.
Earlier in a press conference of Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar, he said thatFederal government may exercise its right to extend Rangers’ powers if provincial government of Sindh fails to do so.Â
Federal government has decided to extend powers of the paramilitary outfit by itself. As per sources, federal government can issue notification of extension of Rangers’ powers under Protection of Pakistan Ordinance.
On the other hand, a resolution to extend Rangers’ power will be presented on floor of Sindh Parliament in a session being held on Thursday.
