According to information, Police has completed the interrogation but failed to collect sufficient evidence against the leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) as per act 497-2
Reports revealed that Doctor Asim Hussain will be released on bail. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will apply to get remand of Doctor Asim Hussain in money laundering and case ,and he can also be handed over to NAB.
Earlier, Anti-terrorist Court Karachi handed-over Doctor Asim to police again on five-day remand on Monday.
Former federal minister Dr Asim Hussain that his life is in danger and requested to safe him from Rangers’ custody. He ruled out the allegations imposed on him.
Asim Hussain appealed for justice in his case. He claimed that Rangers launched fake First Information Report (FIR) against him.
Sindh Rangers registered a case against Dr Asim at a North Nazimabad police station, soon after the expiry of the 90-day remand that the paramilitary force had obtained from an anti-terrorism court for interrogation after his arrest in August.
