ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) launched First Information Report (FIR) against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain over Imran Farooq murder case on Saturday.
MQM leaders Mohammad Anwar, Muazzim Ali, Kashif, Syed Mohsin Ali and Khalid Shameem have also been nominated in the FIR.
The case filed by the counter-terrorism section of the investigation agency has been registered under clause 7 of the anti-terrorism act (ATA).
Earlier, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar told about this action and said that Government of Pakistan decided to launch First Information Report (FIR) of Imran Farooq murder case in Pakistan.
“Government of Pakistan showed full support to British police regarding Imran Farooq murder case,” he claimed.
