LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday lashed out at premier Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for holding a secret meeting in Kathmandu last year, and called both leaders ‘cowards’.

“Leaders do not need to hold meetings in secret. They do not need to lie; in fact they must be credible,” said the PTI chief, addressing a leaders’ conference in Lahore.

While speaking to young leaders’ conference in Lahore, Imran Khan said Pakistan needs fearless leadership today, the one who doesn’t need to hold secret meeting.

“Nawaz Sharif is scared of establishment, holding secret meeting with Indian PM Modi”

Khan said, a leader should stand by the nation during hard times, should take on pressure.

He came hard at Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto and said, “No one can become leader by simply displaying pictures of Mom and Grandpa.”
