MULTAN (Staff Report) – Lahore High Court Multan bench Thursday rejected the nomination papers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate for NA-154 Lodhran, Sadiq Baloch.
According to details, nomination papers of Sadiq Baloch was rejected by the high court. Sadiq Baloch will to able to contest election of NA-154 Lodharan.
Sadiq Baloch’s nomination papers were challenged by independent contestant. Re-election will be held on December 23.
Earlier, Supreme Court of Pakistan banned the verdict of election tribunal and allow Sadiq Baloch to contest the election but re-polls will be held in NA-154.
Sadiq Baloch challenged the election tribunal verdict in SC. Election tribunal disqualified Sadiq Baloch and imposed life time ban on him but he challenged this verdict in SC.
According to details, Supreme court has accepted plea of Siddique Baloch against the election tribunal verdict and ordered him to take part in By-polls in the constituency.
Supreme Court also cancelled his life time ban on participation in elections. Justice Saqib Nisar announced the verdict.
