KARACHI: The arrangements for the procession of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) have been finalised in a joint meeting of Rangers and Police presided by Directer General Sindh Rangers, Major General Bilal Akbar, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Rangers spokesperson confirmed the news as he said that both Rangers and Police will make sure security arrangements for Chehlum procession.
Rangers and police personnel will be deployed to ensure the security during Chehlum procession, meeting informed.
Rangers and police snipers will be deployed atop buildings on the route of the Chehlum procession. Spokepereson told that security arrangements were reviewed for chehlum procession.
According to details, heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies, including police and rangers,will be deployed to counter possible terrorism while helicopters would also keep flying over the routes of the mourning procession for aerial surveillance.
