SHARJAH: Pakistan team will lock horns with winner of T20 series England in the third and the last T20 match of three-match seriesĀ at Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium, Sharjah on Monday.
Shahid Afrdi is hopeful to grab win in the last match of the series. Pakistan lost the T20 series after facing defeat in the One Day International (ODI) series against England under the captaincy of Azhar Ali.
T20 team captain Shahid Khan Afriid has confessed before third and last t20 match against the visitors that fielding and fitness issues are the only concern for hosts.
Earlier day before yesterday Pakistan went down by three runs in a last over thriller in Dubai on Friday, handing England an unassailable 2-0 lead with the final match in Sharjah on Monday.
England survived Afridiās blistering eight-ball 24 to defend a 173-run target. The fireworks masked Pakistanās sloppiness in the field and some indifferent death bowling. And Afridi said there was plenty of work to do before the big event next year despite Pakistanās number 2 ranking in T20 cricket.
Misbah ul Haq was the only skipper who lift the trophy against ‘Three Lions.’
The third and the last match of the series will be played at Sharjah on Monday 30 November.
Match will start at 9 pm PST and 4 pm GMT.
