DHAKA: Rangpur Riders beat Chittagong Vikings in the first match of third edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Sunday at Dhaka.

 Rangpur Riders chased the total on the last ball of the watch. Pakistani cricketers shine in the opening match.

According to details, Mohammad Amir bowled maiden over while representing Chittagong Vikings against Rangpur Riders.
Amir too back to back wickets in second over of his spell. Misbah tried to rescue his team but Amir took his wicket. Misbah remained highest run scorer for his team. King Misbah scored 61 runs with the help of four sixes. Amir took four wickets by giving only 30 runs in four overs.
Earlier, Chittagong Vikings have managed to put 187 runs on the board with the loss of 7 wickets
Third edition of Bangladesh Premier has started from Sunday and Rangpur Riders and Chittagong Vikings are playing the opening match of it.
Tamim Iqbal Captain of Chittagong Vikings won the toss and chose to bat first on flat looking track and managed to score 187-7 runs.
Tamim Iqbal and Dilshan gave the batting side a flying start and they crossed the 50 runs mark in just 4 overs before Dilshan left for pavilion after making fast 29 runs.
Tamim scored 51 runs off just 32 balls, Jeevan Mendis baton charged at the end of the innings and took the total of
the side to 187 runs with his runs 39 off just 18 balls.Saqlain Sajib took 3 wickets for just 26 runs in his 4 quota overs
Ranpur Riders will be looking to chase down the target as they have depth in their batting specially with the inclusion of Misbah and Shakib.
