ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday has decided to deploy army during Local Bodies election in the capital city.
According to details, ECP is in contact with Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Defense over deployment of Army during LB polls.
ECP also in negotiation with Ministry of Interior over the deployment of Rangers during LB polls.
LB Polls in Islamabad are scheduled on November 30.
Elections campaigns for LB polls in Islamabad are at peak these days and election cells has been established by each political party.
This decision has been taken to avoid any bloody clashes in the capital city during LB polls.
