LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board’s chairman Shaharyar Khan has stated that Pakistan and India have not been playing since eight years, nothing will change if this does not happen for one more year.
He was speaking to media outside Pakistan Cricket Board.
PCB chairman further said that board is responsible to government, and without its permission, team will not visit India.
Shaharyar Khan went on to say that Pakistan’s appearance in World Twenty20 event next year, which is going to be held in India, is also conditioned with government’s permission.
He further said that without India series, financial matters may tighten for Pakistan, but it will not effect us much.
While commenting on Pakistan Super League he said, if this season of League makes even little profit, this will be counted as success because it is a breakthrough step, which will bring more profit to Pakistan cricket in coming years.
