ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for information Pervaiz Rashid on Monday denied the rumors circulation in Pakistani media regarding civil, military clash.
While talking to media persons, Pervaiz Rashid said that civil and military leadership is on same page. Federal Minister said that government and Pakistan Army will cut of terrorism from Pakistan.
Earlier, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department released press release , in which the military leadership of the country discussed the professional military matters and the internal and external security situation of the country in Corps Commanders’ Conference in Rawalpindi led by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.
The conference also examined the progress in Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Army chief’s upcoming visit to the United States (US) was also discussed during the meeting. National Action Plan (NAP) and FATA reforms were also brought into discussion during the meeting.
Appreciating the accomplishments in Operation Zarb-e-Azb, army chief said that the army enjoys complete support of the nation against terrorism. He said that good governance is necessary for better results. He added that long-term measures will have to be taken for complete peace in the country.
