There are certain things which we attribute as memory boosters and eating or consuming really does the job. But there are certain habits that we should make part of our lifestyle to improve our lifestyle.

Here are these few habits which can boost your memory

Be considerable about your diet

Research shows that your diet and memory are interlinked. Diets high in saturated fat have been linked to a gene which may contribute to Alzheimer’s disease, according to Harvard Health. It does not mean that you can’t eat these things literally, but you better not gobble these foods on regular basis.

Exercise

An active body is equal to an active mind. A 2014 University of British Columbia study found that regular aerobic exercise may increase the volume of the hippocampus, or one area of the brain in charge of memory.

Keep multitasking at bay

In fact, distractions have a way of messing up your brain’s ability to focus, leading you to ask, “What was I working on again?” We need an environment which nurtures memory. Be sure to have an area that is quiet and free from distractions. Multitasking is not an efficient means to accomplish tasks.

Get a proper sleep

When you sleep, your brain takes the information you gathered throughout the day and processes it into your long term memory. Make sure you get the recommended seven to nine hours each night to optimize the health benefits of sleep.
