KARACHI:Legendary Inzamam-ul-Haq has agreed to extend his contract as Afghanistan cricket team’s head coach for one year.
They wanted me to extend it by three years but I want to judge myself as coach so I agreed to one year. If I keep my good performance intact and they (Afghanistan Cricket Board) are satisfied it can be further extended,” former captain said.
Inzamam-ul-Haq joined Afghanistan team before tour to Zimbabwe. Earlier, former captain said he accepted the offer only for Zimbabwe series where Afghanistan team will play five One Day International and two t20s.
Legendary cricketer Inzamam ul Haq is widely regarded as one of the greatest Pakistani batsmen ever. He is the leading run scorer for Pakistan in One-Day Cricket and third-highest run scorer for Pakistan in Test cricket, after Javed Miandad.
