ABU DHABI: After brilliant performances in Test series Pakistani bowlers shined in limited overs games as Shaheens put England team on back foot.

Pakistani bowlers took wickets on right time and restricted the visitors on limited target. Skipper of English team remain top scorer with 76 runs.

England team set total of 217 runs for Pakistan team to with the first One Day International (ODI) match of four-match series.

English team lost all wickets after scoring 2016 runs.

Taylor also scored the crucial inning of 60 runs and build important partnership with skipper of his team.

Shoaib Malik and Anwar Ali took two wickets each. Star all-rounder Mohammad Irfan managed to get three wickets.

Earlier, Pakistani pace attack had put guests in deep trouble after sending heir top three batsman back to pavilion for just 14 runs on the board.

It was Morgan and James Taylor who bonded together to build a healthy partnership of 133 runs, and taking their team well top of the game.

Pakistan skipper Azhar Ali tried all his tactics to break this partnership but failed until Morgan had no reply to Malik’s sharp turning delivery which took the edge and settled into Sarfraz’s safe hands.

In came Buttler after an unsuccessful campaign in Test series, and tried to steal a single to get off the mark which proved to be a suicide for him and he departed for 1, leaving his team in trouble again.
