LAHORE: Holiday on Iqbal Day has become a funny thing this year, some have announced to observe holiday others have decided not to observe it, no consensus has been there on this matter in this country, Now Punjab government has decided that all the government offices and schools will remain open on November 9.
According to details, Punjab government has stated that there would be no holiday on Iqbal Day in province of Punjab.
All the government offices, schools and secretariats will remain open on November 9.
Many schools in Sindh and Punjab had already announced holiday after government issued holiday notification yesterday morning, the decision was quickly taken back after few hours and since then, no final notification has been issued regarding the issue.
It is to be kept in mind that Pu nja government cancelled holiday on Iqbal day few days back, when this matter was arose.
