MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has announced to cancel the annual gazetted holiday on November 09.
“All the government and semi-government offices of the AJK government will remain open on November 9 throughout Azad Jammu & Kashmir to perform their official duties as routine”, says an official proclamation issued by the AJK Services & General Administration Department.
Federal interior ministry also cancelled the public holiday on Iqbal Day on November 9.
Earlier, Private schools Organization announced to observe a holiday on Iqbal Day.
Whereas, Punjab government on Friday morning stated that they would not observe any holiday on November 9.
Different announcements from different Organizations, have created a vogue situation.
People across the country, especially government employees are still unclear about the issue, and waiting for a proper notification.
